Trump rules out killing Ali Khamenei "for now" but demands Iran's "unconditional surrender."

US President Donald Trump asserted Tuesday that he knows "where" Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei is hiding, but ruled out, "for now," taking the decision to kill him.
"We know exactly where the so-called 'Supreme Leader' is hiding. He's an easy target, but he's safe there . We're not going to eliminate him (kill him!), at least not now," the Republican president wrote on the Truth Social platform.
Trump warned that he does not want "missiles fired at American civilians or soldiers" and stressed that his "patience is running out."
"UNCONDITIONAL PERFORMANCE!" he added in another message.
The president had previously asserted that the United States has "total control of Iran's skies" because it has better air trackers than the Islamic Republic.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Monday that his government will do "whatever it takes" when asked about the possibility of killing Ayatollah Khamenei.
Trump abruptly left the G7 summit in Canada yesterday and returned to Washington early this morning to meet with his National Security team, amid the attacks between Israel and Iran.
Since Israel bombed several Iranian nuclear facilities and military targets on Friday, the two countries have traded fire.
In Iran , more than 200 people have died , including many civilians. Meanwhile, in Israel, Iranian missile launches have killed 24 people.
Although the United States has denied any involvement in the Israeli attacks on the Islamic Republic, Trump has suggested that the offensive came about because he missed a deadline he imposed on Tehran to conclude a nuclear deal .
